Automatic delays connected car platform until August as it seeks to perfect iPhone app

Two months ago, we announced our vision to improve peoples' relationship to their cars. Since then, we've been blown away by the excitement surrounding Automatic and by the volume of pre-orders. Our small team has been working hard to build a seamless connected car experience that works on thousands of makes and models, and we've made tremendous progress. The good news is that the Link – that little device that plugs into your car – is ready and being manufactured! Unfortunately, we underestimated the time needed to complete the iPhone app and we're sorry to say that it won't be ready until the end of August. When we realized we were going to have to push back the date, we started working on a way to get the core of Automatic's features to you sooner. So here's our plan: Because you pre-ordered early, we're making Automatic available to you as a Read more

Sony's Cute Speaker Ball Is Music to our Ears

Now Sphere This About the size of a tennis ball, the Sony SRS-BTV5 is a wireless speaker that can pair with your phone via NFC -- meaning all it takes is a touch. It delivers good sound for the price: $69.99. Volume Controls The volume buttons are well designed, although they're not integrated with your phone's volume. Buttons The switch on the bottom engages pairing mode, and the phone button lets you answer calls. Ports The speaker has a USB port for charging (battery life is rated at 4 hours) and a minijack input for hard-wiring a source. I'm kind of in love with Sony's little egg-shaped speaker, the SRS-BTV5. The tiny, tennis-ball-sized gadget is so cute, it really deserves a name other than the seemingly random series of characters. Maybe Veronica. It looks like a Veronica. At least mine does, but that's probably because it's raven colored. I really wanted one of the bright pink ones — Read more

Google and Microsoft Kiss and Make Up Over YouTube App

Windows Phone customers won't be shut out of seeing YouTube videos after all. After tussling over the YouTube app for Windows Phone, Google and Microsoft have settled their differences now that Microsoft has agreed to include ads in the app. The YouTube app, like other major apps on Windows Phone, is actually made by Microsoft. But while YouTube launched ads on its the official apps on iOS and Android last year, the Windows Phone version doesn't have them. As a result, Google, which owns YouTube, hit Microsoft with a cease-and-desist letter. After the letter was issued, Microsoft publicly commented that it would be happy to include ads in the next version of its YouTube app, but that it lacked the necessary technical tools that only Google has. Now it seems those requests got to the right people, and the two parties hashed things out, because Mashable received the following statement from Microsoft: Microsoft Read more

Soccer Player Ejected for Dropping Trou on the Field

If you're going to get thrown off the field, you might as well go in style, right? This pants-less goal celebration definitely qualifies. It comes courtesy of Mario Djurovski, a Macedonian midfielder for Thai soccer club Muangthong United. After a sweet score, he drops trou, puts his shorts on top of his head and motions strangely toward the stands. The referee, as you'll see, is not impressed, and hits Djurovski with a red card. The clip created a fair amount of befuddled buzz on the sports Internet this week, so check it out for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments. 1. Golf Cart Fail This runaway vehicle wreaked minor on-field havoc following a high school football championship in Texas last December. But a heroic bystander hopped aboard and put on the brakes. No casualties occurred, and the clip immediately became Internet legend. 2. Penalty Kick Fail Watch out Read more

'The Simpsons' Theme Park Coming This Summer

Look alive, Simpsons fans — everyone's favorite animated family is getting its own expanded area at the Universal Orlando Resort. Woo-hoo! The Simpsons franchise has had a presence at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood since 2007. In 2008, The Simpsons Ride launched in both locations. This summer in Orlando, Universal is expanding the world around the show and building a Springfield replica within the park. Universal Orlando says there will be an outdoor attraction and a new ride — Kang Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl. Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Bob will also join the Simpson family members as wandering characters. There are lots of food attractions taken directly from the show, including Krusty Burger, the Frying Dutchman, Lard Lad and Luigi's Pizza. Patrons can also imbibe a Duff Beer (which is apparently brewed exclusively for Universal Orlando) at Moe's Tavern. This isn't the first time Universal Orlando has invested in a Read more

Life is the greatest opportunity that we are given. I have found my opportunity in life to share my successes, my pains, and my experiences with others. In this process, I have gained much prospective on myself internally and others. God is the foundation of my strength, and through him, I have found the abililty to connect with others.

I write my blogs to not only share my personal tests that I may go through, but also to share my TESTIMONIES that come as a result. I share the wisdom I gain not only from others and experiences, but some things I may learn as I take time to age and make decisions, whether favorable or unfavorable results.

Some of my highlights I am able to share, some things of interest I may post, but most importantly, I want this website to be a blessing, resource, and place you can come to in your downtime to find encouragement and strength.

To sum up myself: I love love. I am a young professional, working on his way through the corporate ladder and an entrepreneurial journey of a life time. I am a lover of the Miami Heat (Have loved watching Dwyane Wade since ’03). I am devoted to having a strong relationship with Christ. By no means do I claim or believe in myself being perfect, I view myself as a constant work in progress. I love photography and taking lots of pictures: memories are some of the most important things I cherish. Family is a really big part of me, and I am a person who shares more and more than receiving. I believe in the blessing of love and treating people with the respect they deserve so that it can be asked in return. I am a lover, a romantic, and  a caring individual. I have a really blessed future and work hard everyday to ensure it doesn’t just shine bright, but every action and step I take is to fulfilling the promising legacy I can leave. Technology has always been a special talent for me, and I am a early adopter of new technology. I love technology and the ways we are able to use it to change our lives for the better. Friends are really important to me. Spending time with friends, meeting new people, networking, working out at the gym, playing basketball, traveling, learning and sightseeing, and reading are some of the hobbies you will find that I participate in during my free time.
