NOAA Hi-Def Radar (iOS)

NOAA Hi-Def Radar delivers great-looking animated radar maps to give you a better look at weather systems close to you, but it's missing one important feature. Having a traditional forecast in front of you is useful, but being able to see the path of an actual storm is sometimes the feature you need most. You can use the interactive radar maps in NOAA Hi-Def Radar to see when rainstorms are approaching, see where lightning strikes have occurred, and devise a plan if a severe storm is coming your way. The app tracks weather activity across the entire United States, but it also uses the latest images from NOAA satellites covering the Atlantic and Pacific oceans so you can stay informed during hurricane season, too. Using the app To check weather in your area, simply tap the current location arrow to get a satellite view with the latest weather activity. Read more

Google's 'last step' in Buzz shutdown: moving all data to Google Drive

Buzz user, In October 2011 we announced Google Buzz was shutting down. On or after July 17th, 2013, Google will take the last step in the shutdown and will save a copy of your Buzz posts to your Google Drive, a service for storing files online. Google will store two (2) types of files to your Google Drive, and the newly-created files will not count against your storage limits. The first type of file will be private, only accessible to you, containing a snapshot of the Google Buzz public and private posts you authored. The second type of file will contain a copy of only your Google Buzz public posts. By default it will be viewable by anyone with the link, and may appear in search results and on your Google Profile (if you've linked to your Buzz posts). Note, any existing links to your Google Buzz content will redirect users to Read more

GoGroove BlueGate Bluetooth Audio Receiver

The GoGroove BlueGate performs one very simple function that can be split into two parts. It receives a digital Bluetooth audio signal from a smartphone (or other Bluetooth capable device) and outputs an analog audio signal that can be listened to through headphones, a car stereo, or home audio system. It basically takes a wireless signal and makes a wired one. The wireless portion of the BlueGate's functionality was performed almost flawlessly. It's the wired half of the equation that frustrated me. The trouble with wires The BlueGate device itself is remarkably compact and unobtrusive. The tiny matte black box measures 1.8 inches by 1.3 inches by 0.3 inch, or about the size of a book of matches, and has the GoGroove BlueGate logo printed in gloss black on one of its flat sides. Along one edge is a small black power button and a round power input. Read more

FOMO the Movie: The Terrifying Social Truth

For all the amazing ways social media has changed our lives, it's come with some downsides, as well. Chief among those is FOMO — that is, of course, Fear of Missing Out, a documented disease among social media addicts. Surely you're familiar with the feeling. A simple night relaxing at home is no longer good enough. Twitter brings fun updates from friends on vacation. Instagram is full of photos from a party you weren't invited to. Facebook is a veritable minefield full of reminders of all the wild fun you're not having there on the couch. And yet ... you can't stop checking. Suddenly your relaxing night at home is a painful exercise in anguish and social isolation. Now there's a movie — or at least a trailer — that captures that horror. College Humor posted it to YouTube this week, and the fake preview gives FOMO the Read more

Life is the greatest opportunity that we are given. I have found my opportunity in life to share my successes, my pains, and my experiences with others. In this process, I have gained much prospective on myself internally and others. God is the foundation of my strength, and through him, I have found the abililty to connect with others.

I write my blogs to not only share my personal tests that I may go through, but also to share my TESTIMONIES that come as a result. I share the wisdom I gain not only from others and experiences, but some things I may learn as I take time to age and make decisions, whether favorable or unfavorable results.

Some of my highlights I am able to share, some things of interest I may post, but most importantly, I want this website to be a blessing, resource, and place you can come to in your downtime to find encouragement and strength.

To sum up myself: I love love. I am a young professional, working on his way through the corporate ladder and an entrepreneurial journey of a life time. I am a lover of the Miami Heat (Have loved watching Dwyane Wade since ’03). I am devoted to having a strong relationship with Christ. By no means do I claim or believe in myself being perfect, I view myself as a constant work in progress. I love photography and taking lots of pictures: memories are some of the most important things I cherish. Family is a really big part of me, and I am a person who shares more and more than receiving. I believe in the blessing of love and treating people with the respect they deserve so that it can be asked in return. I am a lover, a romantic, and  a caring individual. I have a really blessed future and work hard everyday to ensure it doesn’t just shine bright, but every action and step I take is to fulfilling the promising legacy I can leave. Technology has always been a special talent for me, and I am a early adopter of new technology. I love technology and the ways we are able to use it to change our lives for the better. Friends are really important to me. Spending time with friends, meeting new people, networking, working out at the gym, playing basketball, traveling, learning and sightseeing, and reading are some of the hobbies you will find that I participate in during my free time.
